Wheely Nameboard Policy
The Wheely nameboard is a symbol of professionalism and attention to detail. Our sleek and elegant nameboards are designed to ensure a perfect airport pickup.
Please make sure you only use the new nameboard; do not use any of the old-style/previous boards.
Tips to ensure long durability
These nameboards are produced with high-end material offering much higher durability if taken with appropriate care. To ensure you don’t need to replace your free nameboard, please follow the instructions below:
Handle with care to avoid damage and scratching;
Keep in the protective bag when not in use;
Only use a dry/wipe whiteboard marker pen;
Clean with a soft, dry cloth after each use;
If necessary, use a mild, non-solvent detergent and a damp cloth to clean it.
DO NOT USE SOLVENT OR ABRASIVE CLEANERS.
Is there a cost to acquire the nameboard?
The first nameboard is provided free of charge, with a refundable deposit for New Chauffeur who finished the accreditation.
Please note that if your board is lost/stolen or gets broken and you subsequently require a replacement, we will have to charge you for this replacement.
The cost of a replacement board is £35.
Greeting with a Name board
The passenger’s name must be written clearly, corresponding to the spelling in the app.
Nameboard cleanliness. Make sure that the name board is clean, without traces of previous names.
Only name. Write only the passenger’s name, do not add the flight number.
Use capital letter. Use lower and upper case letters.
Check marker. Make sure the marker is not dry. Use thin and thick sides of a marker.

Always keep the name board with both hands at a chest level. Mind your posture when meeting a passenger:
do not stand behind luggage trolleys, stands or other people;

do not keep your hands in your pockets;
do not get distracted by conversations with other chauffeurs;
do not use your phone for personal use while waiting for a passenger.
